COVID 19 UPDATE: Serbia Starts Coronavirus Vaccination Program

As reported by Politico, Serbia has begun their vaccination program on Thursday, December 24, becoming one of the first continental European countries to do so. After Serbian regulator approval, nearly 5,000 doses of the BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine arrived in Belgrade on Tuesday.

A larger scale vaccination campaign is expected in January as the Serbian medicines regulator is looking into additional vaccine candidates from China and Russia.
